1993 Ranger Won't Start

I have a 1993 ford ranger 6 cylinder and the problem is i drove my truck for a while and then when i shut it off and crank it again it wont start please help it has a new starter in it new plug i took it to autozone he said the altenator was fine

So it doesn't start with a warm engine but will start in the AM with a cold engine, and run fine until you shut it off?

I have a 98 ranger ; It won't start after giving a friend a jump. I tried starting it directly; it started without a problem. Please help
