    "He flew solo and religiously stuck to posted speed limits." In other words, he stuck to a use profile that very few people who buy 3-row SUVs conform to. I thought these long-term tests were supposed to mirror as closely as possible the average owner experience - ? This is what Travis Langness keeps telling us.

    Got to agree with longtimelurker on this. Driving 65-70 mph on a highway posted at those speeds has a better chance of getting you killed than achieving EPA estimates...I knew driving at 75 mph in a cross wind and 10 F temps today was not going to yield the highway mpg rating of 27 on my RAM EcoDiesel but that was the reality of the conditions (still got 24.1 mpg, however).

    Just trying to see if they could make the EPA highway, which they almost did. No harm done, good to see one can get there. Many test vehicles never see their EPA highway mpgs.
