Are they not making a 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee Altitude?

On the main site for 2016 models, I see the HIGH altitude lineup, which basically starts at 50K. I do not see the regular altitude line for 2016.

Wondering if they are trying to cash in on its popularity by forcing another 10k from buyers, or maybe its just missing.

We aren't showing that style any more either. Guessing Jeep dropped it for 2016 (it was available for 2015). Didn't do much digging but perhaps the Anniversary style is supposed to replace it.

Or that Jeep would rather position the "regular" Cherokee as the lower priced option. I suspect there was a lot of pricing overlap in past years.

Well I was referring to the black rims and trim that seem to be popular. Only way to get them now would be on the high altitude

Actually I just saw one in Chicago that cost ~1-2k more for it. It was 100% cosmetic and those were some sweet rims. Personally, I figure that was a tad too rich for my blood, I'd probably pay somewhat more for just the rims though.

The dealer said it was the only one he had in stock and actually advised me to avoid it. The Altitude wasn't a trim though and was listed as a "cosmetic add on" like the cold weather package

Reedone: Was wondering if you remember why the dealer advised that you avoid it?
