Headlights go on and off while I'm driving.

I HAVE A 1999 OLS ALERO AND THE HEAD LIGHTS HAVE STARTED GO OFF AT RANDOM TIMES . THE WIPERS AND HEATER BLOWER ALL GO OFF .THE CAR WILL KEEP RUNNING. CAN YOU HELP ME OUT?

    yes they do ,this happens with the car cold and hot. this morning it happened as soon as the car started . then they came on and stayed for the whole trip to work. then tonight it did the exact same thing and stayed until I got home . the trip is at least 1 hour or more.

    Just guessing here but the Alero is known to have a problem with water leaking from the fresh air outlet area onto the Body Control Module. This corrodes various connectors and often wipes out the BCM itself.

    where do I find this module and will it need to be replaced or just cleaned up ?

    i found the controller I am going to try to clean the connectors

    checked the module it was clean. my next question is could it be a loose ground wire going to that module

    if so where would that wire be located?
