Why do my transmissions keep going out? 2000 F-150 4.6 4x4

This truck has had 6 trannys put in it and I just put one in about 8 months ago and it went out within 2 months and the reverse will work but no forward gears. It started acting like it was slipping like if I stopped at a red light or anything it would jerk really hard when I took off or when I would put it in drive it would take a min to go in gear and sometimes I would have to rev it up to get it too go in gear I've been told it is something in the computer or a sensor somewhere has anybody else had this prob?

And the fluid was burnt in the last tranny but it's not burnt this time

What kind of truck is this? Is it a diesel? Do you tow or haul heavy cargo?
