2007 Yukon Denali paint, has GMC helped anyone with this problem?

Paint peeling and flaking and rust on top of vehicle. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    I'd suggest getting it 3M'd on the affected area. Otherwise, hate to admit it, it's probably going to happen again. The new water based paint used by manufacturers nowadays is not as strong as the old solvent based use to be.

    There really aren't all that many paint complaints out there any more - some orange peel ones, but I think paint is a lot better than it used to be.

    Never heard of anyone putting a "clear bra" on their roof before - perhaps you're referring to some other 3M product?
