This may be an indication as to why no-one is buying these cars anymore, while other sports cars at the same price level and higher are doing very well. Not only does Porsche offer parking sensors on their 911, but they also offer a hydraulic system that raises the front end to clear steep driveways etc. Using the 'pure sports car' argument does not hold water for the Viper if it is no longer made cuz no-one wants it.

p.s. even $20K cars offer parking sensors!

Here's an opportunity to see how much it would cost to repair the viper's sheet metal. Some of the cars in the fleet get "crash tested" and the occasional sledgehammer, my question is: does the more expensive car necessarily mean a more repair cost?

The sensors that they use in some of the other vehicles Fiat Chrysler makes might not work correctly in this car because of the shape and height of the nose. They would need to be looking more down and forward instead of just forward like in many of the other cars Fiat/Chrysler makes with more ground clearance.

Also the Viper not a big car, it is shorter in length then a Honda Civic, so it should fit in most parking spots without needing to park all the way against the wall or curb.
