99 front end won't fit my 97 Chevy 1500

I took a 99 front end (fenders, radiatior support, wheel wells) to put on my wreaked 97 Chevy 1500. The problem is the fenders won't line up with the door or the radiator support. Is there a difference between the 99 and 97 front ends?

    As I recall, 1999 was a transitional year between the GMT400 platform and the GMT800 platform for these trucks. So maybe that's what you ran afoul of?
