Phantom squeek

my truck has an intermittent squeak/chirp under the hood, it will stop if I shut the engine off then restart. I have already replaced the water pump, idler, tensioner, belt, AC pump & condenser. I took it in and they listened with a scope but could not pin it down. Any ideas?

Is this a rhythmic squeak that occurs in a set interval like the tick of a clock, or is it ragged and irregular?

What I'm getting at is to determine first of all if it is likely to be a rotational noise or an interference noise.
