I'm being told that 2017 should be getting delivered within the next two weeks at dealers. Hope they get numbers out around that time.

The May information we have does not include 2017 numbers. Perhaps in June.

Thanks, I am told by my local dealers (NE) that their cars should be delivered starting in June.

Then hopefully we'll have the lease numbers at that time, as well.

However, don't count on them being very good .. even the current 2016 WRX numbers are quite high.

Most of your entries and assumptions are incorrect.

1) The price is $27025 from the ad.
2) $1199 is not the downpayment, it's the total amount due at signing (including first payment). The downpayment amount is less than that.
3) The purchase option price is not necessarily the residual. If this is a 36 mo, 10K/yr lease, then the residual is actually $18,710. It's possible they have typo-ed the residual in for another model or term.
4) The base MF for this model is .00170

We only show Base or Limited for the STI

Can you explain why the money factor is so high? Is it the fact that it's a 2017 or is it Subaru or the type of car? I just noticed much lower rates on other vehicles and I wonder what components drive this number. Obviously the residuals are phenomenal on the flip side. Thanks for your help!

MF for the WRX have always been high. Big demand drives this, and, as you've noted, the high residual mitigates this to a certain extent.

Something is wrong with the app, or your entries.

Using that MSRP, CAP cost, residual and money factor for 36 months, I get $341.23.
I didn't add tax.

The base MF for the WRX ranges between .00170 and .00205, depending on trim. Looks like it's been marked up a bit.

680-699 is tier 2; add .00025 to MF
