How much of the down payment is going to "cap reduction"?

We don't recommend doing that - if the car is stolen or totaled, you lose that money.

    Good discount from sticker, however.

The lease numbers for the 2016 RX350 are 64% and .00130

Using your prices, as is, I get $548/mo plus tax. That assumes $0 cap reduction.

Lots of people think that. Not true. Just like a car that is financed, there is a payoff value and a trade value for a vehicle that is leased as well. You do not have to keep the car until the end of the lease.

Thanks Michaell, in this case, would it be better off to sell the lease vehicle before the lease end?

I suppose it would depend on whether you have positive or negative equity.

Your prices, as is, give me a payment of $548 a month, assuming 9% sales tax. I would confirm the adjusted capitalized cost with the dealer.

Thanks Michaell, yes, it is 9% sales tax (in S CA) how to confirm or ask about the adjusted cap cost?

in addition, I'm in the middle to making decision on either to lease or purchase. If for purchase, do you think there's still room for price negotiation? thanks

I would simply call the dealer and ask them ... and, how they got that number from the negotiated selling price.

We don't track selling prices; use the "make / model / year" pull downs at the top of the page to link to the price tools.
