Our 2016 Toyota Prius has heated front seats, but the toggle switches that control them are well-hidden. They would have been better located anywhere else.

    Maybe it's a dead horse, but I'm still bemused by the sheer amount of use that seat heaters get at Edmunds. I've lived in Los Angeles for the majority of my life, and I can't remember a time when I would have ever needed/used this feature. Seat coolers on the other hand...

    Oh well, it's obviously good info for people who live in locations where the seat heater may be seriously needed.

    I remember thinking the same thing about internet connectivity on a phone. And then when I got an iPhone, I began using mobile data with increasing frequency. Now I feel uncomfortable in underground parking garage elevators, trapped with three other people and no LTE signal. The four of us pretend to look at something veeeerrrry important on our phones for fear of making eye contact with each other and then we sprint out of the elevator before the doors can fully open.

    That's what seat heaters are like. You don't need them, then you have them, and then you get the shakes when the ambient temperature is 65 degrees and your butt isn't getting second-degree burns within two minutes of turning the car on.

    Thanks for the reply! I think I side with Mr. Riswick on this issue: I don't need a feature that gives me "swamp [non-permissible content removed]", I need a feature that takes it away. :P
