Advice needed for buying 2016 Honda CR-V
Hello everyone,
My first post here. I am looking to buy a Honda CR-V. I have 2 questions which I hope someone can help me with.
1. I am thinking about the EX. However, I am also interested in the safety features of the Touring. Is it worth paying more for the Touring for the extra safety features. I do not care so much about the other features of EXL and Touring.
2. Would it be better to email dealers towards the end of June or should I wait for the 4th July weekend? I do not need a vehicle right away but will need one by the 1st week of July.
Thanks for taking time out to read and answer my question.

One advantage over buying at the end of June is that the dealership may be a bit less hectic that it would be on a big sale weekend. Inventory and color options may be a tad better. But it's hard to say - could be some extra bonus money floating around to move cars for the holiday.
Memorial Day is supposedly "the" holiday for deals. You may want to check that out too.
The trend in the forums seems to be better deals on CR-Vs, especially in areas that weren't as aggressive on prices. But that's just my sense from skimming the posts, not based on any real data. And whether it keeps getting better month to month - no idea.
But the safety stuff has a way of trickling down. The HR-V I test drove had lane departure and that's a very competitively priced car.
Place your bets.
