We are currently leasing a 2013 Q5 and nearing the end of the lease. We're looking to lease a Q5 again.

This is what the dealer is offering us. Is this a good deal?

How is your net cap cost $3800 under your gross cap?

There is a cap reduction of 3819 (1750 rebate + 2069 equity with my current lease)

I get $527/mo.+tax

The MF markup is adding $36/mo.+tax to the price.

Thanks much. 575/month (or 537/month + tax) is the deal being offered. I'll go back back and check on the MF markup

FWIW, a few months back I was offered a Q5 (I think MSRP was about 48.5) for 590/month and zero drive off, for 36/10, including audicare.

I didn't really haggle (had bought from salesperson before), and ended up passing - saved $8K and bought a Ford Edge instead - which, amazingly, I like better than the Q5!

Just did a q5 premium plus @ $48.5k sticker + $850 for prepaid maintenance. I did a balloon loan 2,500 down and 500 month. Like a lease, they will buy it back for the agreed residual in 42 months. 12k mi /yr. anyone have experience on this type of deal vs a traditional lease?   I wish I would have got one w the lux package for the ventilated seats but it was several thousand more.

What state is this? In selected states, a balloon note makes more sense based on the tax implications.

If you've signed the paperwork and taken delivery, don't stress too much over the numbers. If you're happy, that's all that really matters.

And, you're driving an Audi! Enjoy the next 42 months.
