Aftermarket stereo install in my 1999 Subaru Legacy Outback SUS.

what do i do about my interior lites etc since the kenwood deck im installing has less pins or connectors than the stock stereo/cd player combo that came in car? i have cut the stock harness plug off and rewireing the new plug but having issues with the display , lites, and not sure how to find the answer so im here asking anyone that can point me in the rite direction.

I'd ask the stereo manufacturer for a wiring diagram, then work with a test light and or volt/ohm meter to figure it out. Might not have been a good idea to cut the harness plug as there might be adapters but oh well.....
