Rear sunshades are a nice touch. On my personal cars, I also have the windows tinted around 30% which helps to cut down a lot on heat and glare.

Do the shades serve cold beverages to backseat passengers as well? Does that price include anything else? I can't believe that some little pieces of plastic and mesh cost almost $600. I'm sure part of the cost includes the cost of engineering the standard door to allow space for the shades and motors (I'm hoping they're motorized) but good lord that's a big chunk of change for back seat comfort.

This is the German car manufacturer business model. They nickel and dime you for everything. These sunshades (as well as powered rear sunshades) are becoming more common, which is a good thing.

As a person of Scottish descent, I 100% understand and empathize the desire to block the Sun's blinding light to avoid being broiled alive like a lobster. What I don't understand is why folks over in Germany charge that much for something so uninspired. I feel like that $575 could've been better spent towards developing and launching a rocket into the sun and rid our live of it entirely.
