Hey again - wondering if it's smart (from a credit perspective, insurance perspective and financial) to be taking over somebody else's lease on a wrangler unlimited (automatic transmission). Is this a legitimate thing people do? If so what are some of the best resources to consult?

Thanks!

Lots of websites out there - google 'lease swap' and see what you get.

It happens all the time. Swapalease is the biggest marketplace for lease swaps.

First, check that the bank with the lease contract allows lease assumptions. Then, make sure it's a good deal. The vast majority of lessees don't really get good deals. No point in taking over someone else's bad deal.
