Hi there I have a 2001 Saturn L300 V6 just installed a new fuel pump and filter, car starts no problem with lots of fuel pressure to the engine. But when I go to drive I get maybe 500 yards if i'm lucky before it shuts down then will not restart.
PLEASE HELP!!!

Thank you for your time in advance!

Did you have to drop the gas tank? Any chance you could have disturbed the various hoses to the EVAP system?

If it won't restart, try some starting fluid in the air filter. If it starts right up, then you have a fuel delivery problem. If the gas tank isn't venting properly, the vacuum produced will also make it difficult for your fuel pump to operate.
