Kia falling apart
Kia just had a new motor about 7 months ago due to the same problem others have been with the pulley breaking off and blowing motor after all belts breaking.
Today, I accelerated to pass a car and then a loud bang and felt something under my feet like something fell off. I pulled over and didn't see anything obvious, all belts are there no leaks and not running hot. However, the windshield washer fluid light is now illuminated and flashes along with the a.c. seems to be suffering a bit. Didn't have much faith in the mechanic after he began the work so wanted to get others thoughts.
