Are you a recent EV buyer (past 3 months) as a result of manufacturer incentives and dealer discounts on these vehicles, including year-end deals? Ram Radio cuts out

My radio cuts out whenever it gets hot out & I have found that if I leave the air conditioner on it helps to keep it cool. I know it's the speakers that stop working cause the cd player shows it's playing, just no sound. Does anyone have an answer for this?

Sounds like a bad amplifier or high electrical resistance somewhere in the wiring/connectors. Not much you can do but pull it and either look for bad soldering connections or have an audio shop bench test it. Have you tried the "jiggle test" when this happens (playing with the wiring harness into the radio?)

Yes, I did try the jiggle test. Thank you, I will try your suggestions.
