Hi there,

What is the MF for a 2016 428i GC at 12K miles? The car has 6500 miles. The MSRP is $50395. Selling price is $45500. Residual (61%) with depreciation for the miles is $29844. $2K down payment. Monthly payments of $475. Is this a good deal? Also, how much should the car be discounted with 6500 miles on it already?

With the selling price as the CAP cost, I get $539/mo.+tax
With $2000 off the CAP, $457/mo.+tax.
Is it $2000 total due at signing? Or, $2000 down, plus 1st payment, etc, etc.?

With the residual being reduced by $900, you want a price that's at least $900 less than you can get a new one. And, more.. otherwise, why get one with miles?

Thanks! It was actually $4K including 1st payment, tax, license, etc. Not exactly sure how much is going towards the net cap. They actually came down to selling price of $42500, but there's two deep scratches on the front bumper that they painted over. Kinda lost it's luster. Yeah, I'm starting to wonder why I'd lease a car with miles and blemishes, when I can get a brand new one for slightly more.
