Mariner control arm bushings; throttle body

I have 55,000 miles on this vehicle, and have had the throttle body replaced, still having problems with shifting, and once an almost stall. Leaking axle seal as well. Now the dealer says both front control arm bushings are starting to tear. Should this be happening to a vehicle with only 55,000 miles?

    I'd say no.

I guess it depends on how the vehicle is used. I suppose that with a lot of rough road use you could pound the front control arm bushings and put stress on the axle seals and bearings, but under normal use, that sounds a bit premature. I'd expect problems like this more at 80,000. Seals and bushings can wear with age as well as mileage however.
