Hi all just got a quote for the 2017 T6 Momentum 39/10K and would like to check if you guys are geeting the same info.The MF took a hit comparing with last couple of months in MA. The sales manager told me was .00151, and the residual value 58% for 10K for miles.

Does that sound right? Not sure if they inflated the MF

.00151 is the correct (base) MF for 39/10, and I confirm the 58% residual as well.

Also, any insights as to whether discounts on 2017's will be bigger? TrueCar is showing 4000 off on a 2017 but under 2000 for a 2016.. Bigger discounts to counteract the added $1800 base price?

Lastly, can you confirm that orders for 2017 T6 AWD Inscriptions have been put on hold, possibly until no sooner than January?

I forget the MF it was either .00155 or .00151

Thoughts? NY sales tax 8.125. don't have the breakdown but I will get it. 
2016 was more of a discount but color was an issue.

I had a Volvo salesman tell me the rates for August are the same as July's. I was specifically asking about T6 AWD R-Design and Momentum, so not sure if any of the other variants have changed, but he said these two were the same as July...

sorry to post this here, but I would give it visibility for Volvo xc90 buyers.
I am an attentive buyer (especially because of your help) . I always scrupulously check my lease before signing. And the usual scams come to life (hidden fees, modified residuals, etc etc). Yesterday I witnessed a new one. While checking my new lease, the numbers did not adds up with money factor, residual, and agreed upon fees, so I asked to recalculate the lease putting every item that was not part of the actual lease as upfront payment and no capped cost, so to have a clear view. I received it, and redoing the calculation I ended up with a 5$ difference a month, even if the numbers on the lease printout created the illusion that the MF and residual used was the correct one. Called the manager who, after agreeing with my calculation, told me that he could not change the software, but because of the error he added the 5$ a month difference to my trade-in value. So my advice, ask for a "clean lease" sheet calculation (no fees, no taxes) and redo the math. The same thing happened with 2 different Volvo dealers.

I am interested in the XC90 T6 momentum but I need 2 cars. I would like to lease an S90 as well. I would think that I should ask for a discount on both cars but not sure what to ask for. It's also possible that I could go to the dealer with a friend who is also interested in an XC90. What can of percentage off do you think I should ask for. Thanks.

We don't track selling prices; use the "make / model / year" pull downs at the top of the page to link to the price tools.

Starting to see some discounts on the XC90, but the S90 is brand new, so may not be much discounting, yet.

i bought a vehicle the 2nd day of August. I have read that most dealerships do not know their new leasing MF and Residuals until a few days into the month... went in to dealer on 29th of july- the MF went up quite a bit in 5 days and the salesman said he couldnt give the same MF as july 29.
Anyways, i purchased a $74,000 2017 Volvo XC90 R Design lease is 39 month term and payment is $1099/month.
The more and more i research here on edmunds and your replies, the more i am convinced i got f!
Let me know thoughts, please

Is it a T5, T6 or T8? How many miles per month?

Are you sure about the residual percentage? Or, was that from the old quote?

i do know the taxes in this state are .0675 or 6.75% if this helps some.

Your payment is about $1030/mo.+tax

If the MSRP is $74K, then the CAP cost would be about $76K to get that payment.

Looks like you paid about full MSRP.

How is it possible?
High money factors, average residuals, low discounts... or, maybe just a really bad deal.

Skip the broker and shop around.

.00151 and 60% / 58%

MSD is usually worth the cost - depending on the discount, it's an effective 15% return on the investment.

Not as certain about the advantage to a single pay lease.

Dealers can't adjust the residual value - it's set by the bank.

Could be a third party bank funding the lease, and the MF was coincidentally the same?

On the 2017 XC90 T6 Momentum with 39 month/10k lease, do you know how much the .00151 money factor would go down using 10 MSDs? Would it be .00005 per MSD or .0005 for all 10? Therefore the updated money factor is .00101 with 10 MSDs? I assume the residual would be unchanged.

I don't know the MSD MF reduction for Volvo, sorry.

$4585 "NON-CASH CREDIT". (nope, no idea what that means, exactly).

What is the MSRP on that unit?
Given the residuals and money factor, $1000/mo. doesn't shock me.
