Pontiac Vibe: Excessive Cold-Startup Noise Mystery
My 2009 Pontiac Vibe has been making a rough startup noise, but only when the engine has had time to completely cool off. It occasionally has a belt squeal as well even though the belt in question is relatively new. I've taken it to a few mechanics who have been unable to diagnose the reason why it sounds so bad when I do a cold-start up. Any ideas of what it may be?
