I have a 99 Pontiac Bonneville SSE. Just recently I changed the starter. Right before that I smelled a burning electrical smell. Well when I changed my starter I was doing routine checks under the hood and noticed the cover on my main fuse panel had a hole melted through it. Apon removable I noticed both sides of my fuse panel were both melted. It has gotten progressively worse to the point of it only being mostly metal left. Can you please tell me what caused/is causing this and how to fix it?
