Should I wait or should I re-lease?

I recently received a notice from BMW offering an early lease renewal. It mentions how it's a benefit if I'm over mileage or need to replace tires. I'm actually at 1/2 the allotted mileage and tires are brand new! Although I did relocate and won't be able to drive in the winter weather in my current 550i. So what I need to do is lease a new X5/X6 before the snow starts. There is absolutely NO reason for me to keep this lease until 12/17/16, unless I didn't want to lease again. Anyone been through this process? Is it worth it? What are my best options?

Here are a few tips for anyone who receives a lease pull-ahead offer:
Read the offer carefully so you understand all the terms, conditions and possible fees.
Note how much time is remaining on your lease; if you are in the last year, you are in the best position for a lease pull-ahead deal.
Consider the mileage factor: Are you under the limits of your current lease or over it? What's the annual mileage on the new lease?
Ensure that the drive-off fees from the first lease will carry over to the new lease.
Contact your lease company and ask for the current "buyout amount" for your car.
Compare the buyout amount with the Edmunds.com TMV trade-in price.
If TMV is higher than the buyout, you have equity in your car and you will be in a strong position to negotiate good terms on your next car.
Call ahead to the dealership's finance manager and ask what kind of an offer the dealer can extend to you. Quite likely, he will tell you he needs to see the condition of your car first. Still, you may get a sense of whether you want to work with the dealership.
Before going to the dealership, wash your car and remove all personal items. You might be coming home in a new car.5
