No idea .. what lease term and how many miles per year are you looking for?

We would also need to know the MSRP and negotiated price to help with a payment.

And, in TX the entire selling price is subject to sales tax .. makes leasing more expensive there.

There is a well-established C-class lease thread you can check out:

Will have negotiated prices from other members.

    I got below quote:
36 month lease RWD 10K miles
    MSRP 40,800
    Sale Price 35,800
Final sale price with doc fee and tax = $38,458.20
    RES 62%

Dealer is asking for 1000 down with 467 per month (includes taxes). I don't know the MF. 1000 down includes first payment.

    Thanks,

    Thanks,

I can guarantee you that the $1000 up front won't be enough to cover the taxes. Nor do I see any mention of the acquisition fee ($795, but dealers often mark it up to $1095).

    36/10 on C300 RWD is .00134 and 62%

With your MSRP and final sale price, I get $451/mo. Close, but that's still almost $600 unaccounted for.

I got to know MF is 0.00134. Is this a good rate? How much MF affects monthly payments?
$38,458.20 includes the acquisition fee and taxes. I won't be paying any more taxes or fee after I pay 1000 down. Do you think it is a good deal or can better. Maybe $600 they had put in for acquisition fee or something.

.00134 MF is the base rate for this model. You can't get any lower.

With that rate, residual, MSRP and if $38,458.20 is the adjusted CAP cost, I get $451/mo.

Money factor is the finance portion of the lease payment. In this example, it accounts for $85/mo.

Is this a good deal 467 per month in TX? If it comes out to 451 per month, how is this figure calculated so that I can ask the dealer why he is charging more. Thanks.

Ask the dealer what number they are using for both the Money Factor and the adjusted cap cost - those are the only two variable numbers in a lease calculation.

I did below calculation and it came 421.84 for me. Should I subtract 1000 down from invoice price or not.
    1. Sticker Price of the car + options $40,800
    2. Times the residual value percentage X 0.62%
    3. Equals the residual value = $25,296
    4. Invoice price of car minus incentives (net capitalized cost) $38,458.20 - 1000 (down payment) $37,458.20
    5. Minus the residual (from line 3) - $25,296
    6. Equals the depreciation over 36 months = $12,162.2
    7. Depreciation (line 6) divided by term in months ÷ 36
    8. Equals the monthly depreciation payment = $337.84
    9. Net capitalized cost (From line 4) $37,458.20
    10. Plus the residual (From line 3) + $25,296
    11. Equals = $62754.2
    12. Times the money factor X 0.00134 (3 percent)
    13. Equals money factor (interest) payment portion = $84
    14. Monthly depreciation payment (from line 8) $337.84
    15. Plus money factor payment portion (from line 12) + $84
    16. Equals bottom-line monthly lease payment = $421.84

Subtract the $1000 only if it is being used as a cap reduction. Only the dealer can tell you if that is so.

That $1000 could also be used to cover the up front fees.

Ask the dealer for the adjusted cap cost - this would be the selling price plus any taxes and fees you are not paying up front, less any cap reduction (down payment) you are making.
