2016 Honda Pilot EX-L Out the Door Price- Miami Florida

Latest quote on the 2016 EX-L is $36,500 and this is out the door price. I started at $38,900 3 days ago. Is this a good deal. Can the Pilot go for lower? I don't really have a target Price as I am not sure how low can they go LOL!

    Hi @mosmna1, for a Miami zip code invoice is $33,861, MSRP is $36,955 and the TMV average price paid is $35,481. Those numbers include the $900 doc fee and I'm assuming FWD.

    Car deals don't tend to be all that great in Florida. It looks like your taxes there are roughly 10%. So taking 10% off your quote, the selling cost of the Pilot would be, oh, around $33,000.

    Wouldn't hurt for a breakdown. If my assumptions (and math) are right, your quote is pretty good for Florida. Hondas sell for below invoice in other markets, but Florida is special.

    Florida is notorious for high doc fees, so if the dealer needs to make quota this weekend, you may yet be able to squeeze a few more bucks of out them - they can eat some of the fees and still do fine on the deal.
