the colors are different in the Haynes book. the only thing I can think of is its a mid year. I have installed a new transmission and I have no problem figuring out the 4l30-e internal wiring but need to know what is what on my harness. the colors are as follows on my harness. on the front case I have brown/yellow, brown/white, brown/red, brown/black. the other 6 wires on the main case are, green, brown/white, brown/yellow, red/white, red/black, green/red. I need to know for pin location to connect to transmission. thanks for any help out there.

Could try bbbind.com. Free wiring diagrams there when you register.

Probably will get the same result but AutoZone also has free wiring diagrams.

Lots of public libraries offer access to Chiltons and other online auto repair sites. Well, Chilton's won't be any better than Haynes, but there's another one out there that I used to have access to before I moved - Auto Repair Reference Guide or something like that.

Oh, and don't forget to do the same search for the Isuzu Rodeo twin.

    Any Passport/Rodeo owners lurking?

When you can't find the right information in the aftermarket, the next choice is the manufacturers website. https://techinfo.honda.com/rjanisis/logon.asp

Well, you can find factory manuals on eBay. Best ask the seller's first whether they come with wiring diagrams. Here's an example for $24 but it's the wrong year. This one is $80 but seems closer to what you are looking for since it's specifically wiring.

I went up and down a year, and cross checked the Rodeo schematic. There are almost no changes at the transmission end of the harness, but the control module does change and that causes pin ID changes there. This is what Mitchell on Demand shows for the solenoid pack to the PCM.
You'll notice that while some of the colors match, they are in the wrong connectors according to your description.

Try using the PCM wiring harness schematic to identify the wires there and see what they are and then cross reference back to the solenoid pack.
