2008 Solara and am new to this car

I have 2008 Solara and am new to this car, want to take the best care of it as I have all of my automobiles. How often do you change the oil in these cars, the regular way of every 3,000 miles or do they use synthetic oils and you change them every 5,000 miles. What is synthetic blended oil? Should use or not? Thank you. Should I use synthetic oil in this car?
