I actually like steering wheel buttons. I drive a car without any at all, and I always appreciate them whenever I drive one of my family member's vehicles. Since the cruise control has lived on the steering wheel for awhile, I think it makes sense that the accident avoidance buttons are there as well. Checking fuel economy, answering phones, controlling the radio, turning off alarms are all things people regularly do while driving, so I think having the buttons right at fingertip is a smart design. Are you in favor of fewer steering wheel controls or just different ones?
