Invoice is $41,906 and the TMV average price paid is $41,417. Those numbers include the $900 destination.
So your quote is $2,000 below invoice. Sounds great to me.
Mind the doc fees and watch out for any "junk" fees. A "good" doc fee is less than $100 - any more than that is just additional dealer profit (well, even at $100, it's mostly profit).
Good luck and let us know how it goes!
Here is more detailed breakup
PRICE: 39,406 INCLUDES DESTINATION VIP INTERNET SALES PRICE!!!
DEALER FEE: 795
ELECTRONIC FILING: 239
MISC: 25
SALES TAX: 2,427.90
Doc Fee is the electronic fee which is mentioned here right. Can I negotiate on Dealer Fee as well?
That's crazy - let me guess, you're in Florida?
Instead of negotiating the dealer fee, add everything else up and negotiate on that "out the door" number.
Some fees are legit but even the electronic fee sounds like a rip-off. The dealer fee is a real rip.
$41,900 OTD should be plenty for the dealer - they are getting other money from Honda that we don't know about ("dealer cash") and some we do know about (holdback).
