Need advice on a 2016 S60 T5 Premier AWD Lease!

Here's the vehicle that I'm interested in:

Willis Volvo Des Moines 2016 Premier

The thing to note is that this is a dealer/loaner car and has 4,000 miles on it already, still selling as "new". I'm looking to lease 36 months @ 12k miles. I went to the dealer and this is the "deal" they were offering:

Here are my opinions:
The MSRP of $45,674 does not seem correct. It seems to reflect the price of a S60 Inscription and not the T5 Premier AWD with the Climate and Convenience Package that I tested. From Volvo's website, the MSRP should actually be $43,750.

In the numbers, they added the $5000 Volvo Lease bonus cash and $4,500 loaner/dealer incentive. That looks ok to me but I don't think they honored the $2,650 Complimentary Premier Package into the price either.

So, my offer should be:

MSRP $43,750

- $5,000 Lease Bonus
- $4,500 Dealer/Loaner Incentive
- $2,650 Complimentary Premier Package
+ $799 Accessories

Asking Price = $32,399

Any thoughts on this? Would $32,300 be a reasonable counteroffer on the asking price? What additional information should I ask for?

@SimpsonTide985 Your link shows the actual car and MSRP. That is the car they calculated the deal on.
Is that not the car you drove? It won't matter what you find on Volvo's website.

If a car has the complimentary Premier package, that isn't going to be a discount that's applied on the lease. That is most likely already discounted on the window sticker.

Considering the deals we've seen in the 2016 lease discussion, this isn't that great of a deal, especially considering that it's a demo.
What is the line item for accessories for $799?

I believe the $799 was for dealer installed paint protection, like a clear bra type of application? I can't recall exactly what it was when the salesperson was talking it through.

Also, the Complimentary Premier Package looked like it could still be applied on the lease retroactively. The deal was added well after the vehicle was added to inventory so I don't believe I saw it on the Window Sticker. I would think they the dealer should still honor it, no?

What should I counter with? My ideal situation would be $1750 down @ $370/month

You shouldn't have to put any money down. This is like what I'm encountering, @kyfdx. I've really gotten the run-around, and I'm out of time...and cars for that matter.

That has been my sentiment EXACTLY with everything I have received. This is an e-mail I sent to a dealer yesterday -- note it, @SimpsonTide985:

At 36 months, I'm using the following figures:
    MSRP: $47,125
    Selling price: $43,425
    Incentives: $5,050 + $2,650 + $500 + $1,000 conquest = $9,200
    MF: 0.00001
    Residual: 46%
Payment should be $368 + $47 tax. Even if I made the selling price and the MSRP equal, that only makes the payment $471 + tax. $524 - $565 for 39 months makes no sense whatsoever.

At 24 months, I'm using the following figures:
    MSRP: $47,125
    Selling price: $43,425
    Incentives: $5,050 + $2,650 + $500 + $1,250 + $1,000 conquest = $10,450
    MF: 0.00001
    Residual: 51%
    Payment should be $357 + $70 tax.
When I made the MSRP and the selling price the same, that one comes to $495, so again, $587-$631 is not only way too high (and nearly double what I'm paying now), but something is wrong.

What is the dealer/loaner incentive? This is a demo-ish car that the owner drove home, and it has about 270 miles on it. Thanks.

Do you know what this month's money factor or residuals are for this particular 2016 Volvo S60 T5 Premier AWD that I'm looking at here?

The dealer came back, giving me a money factor of .00075. WTF?

Now, what am I supposed to do? Tell them to give me .00001 or I walk away? What's my play here? I'm in no hurry to get this vehicle, but it's by far the best vehicle I've tested out of the 8 that I tried. How do I counter this offer delicately? Offer an extra $500 at signing for the .00001 mf?

Politely but firmly tell the dealer you won't sign with an inflated MF. And, contact other Volvo dealers. How far are you willing to travel to get a deal on your terms?

The problem is, this particular dealer seems to have the ONLY AWD T5 S60 within 400 miles that has the things on it that I want right now. It's frustrating! I don't have much to bargain with option to option.

My guess is that the dealer knows you want this particular car, and is holding it hostage with the higher MF.

Your call as to whether to pay the ransom.
