Do you by any chance have the latest numbers for 2017 Grand Touring as well?
I.e., money factor, residual, lease cash (if any) for 36 months, 12,000 miles / year.

We don't have the numbers for a 20K/yr lease.

Pretty sure the numbers quoted are for 10K/yr.

.00073 MF and 61% residual for 24/15. The extra 10K miles will likely reduce the residual by $1000-$1500, below that.

MA taxes the monthly payment, so you can't pay that upfront.
No taxes or inception fees were added into that calculation, because you didn't provide that information.
Every $1000 in extra charges adds about $28/mo. to the payment.

Looks like Residual for 10K and 39 months is 52% (which seems quite low) and the $745 lease cash continues.

Thanks. Just trying to understand if it's a good price to pay for a Mazda 6. My current lease ends at the end of January 2017 and I can wait if there is a chance prices will go down a little. I'm looking at Around $250-60 as the target lease amount for the same model with the same due at signing . Is it a viable and realistic target?

We don't really track pricing. Your target doesn't seem out of bounds. About $1500 less than what they are asking now.

That is the lowest MF you'll see. I guess it would be the same for a one-pay lease.

Hello, thanks for all the great advice you give everyone here!

I've been working with my local Mazda dealership and have been negotiating on a Mazda6 Automatic Touring. Doing a 36 month, 10k miles/yr lease. Money factor is set at 0.0001.

I'm being told that the residual is set by the bank at 53% and cannot be changed. I initially tried to get them to go 55% but this was their reply. Is that correct?

That's true, the residual is set by the bank and is not negotiable.

But, .00001 MF (4 zeroes) and 53% residual is the program for 39/10, not 36/10.
Also, $745 lease cash on this model.

Also, my current lease dealer wants me to come in for a Lease pull-ahead program..Current car is running under miles.. My lease terms April 24th.. Should I consider this to take advantage of end-of-year pricing on a new one???

$25-$30/mo. less for the 39 month lease. Basically, those last three months are free, if you take 39 months.

Much cheaper to take the 15K/yr upfront, rather than paying the mileage penalty. The dealer is wrong on that one (assuming you need 15K/yr)
