2017 Mazda3 sedan: when will dealers be getting them in?

Does anyone know when the 2017 Mazda3 sedans will be arriving at the dealerships?

It's not on the official Mazda website yet. It's on sale now in Japan, and is slated for Europe in "late 2016".

Here's what a July 2016 article from Car & Driver said:

"There’s no word on when North American consumers will be able to get their hands on the updated 3. We reached out to a Mazda representative, who would only confirm that a number of these changes and technological improvements—although not all of them—will be offered in the North American 2017 Mazda 3."
