These look like national or regional offers - you can usually do better with some negotiation.

And, we don't recommend making a down payment on a lease - that money would be lost if the car is stolen or totaled.

$500 per month for a 3 year lease.
$3,500 out of pocket
10,000 miles per year

He added that the car sale price would be $41,900, with a list price of $46,955.

Is this a "good deal?" Also, heard someone mention here that putting money down (the $3,500) isn't recommended. What would I do instead?

Using your prices with the quoted MF and residual, I get ... huh ... $499.99/mo.

So, the $3500 down covers your taxes and fees, plus the first payment. You can choose to pay those costs up front, though we suggest you roll everything but the first payment and DMV costs into the lease. You'll have a larger payment but lower out of pocket costs.

2. Are there other incentives or specific things I should negotiate
3. Is it more advantageous to get a 3 year lease as opposed to 2 year? Like, is there a major difference overall?

What is the MSRP and the adjusted cap cost?

3 year leases are generally better as there are more payments with which to spread out the cost of the depreciation. And, we also suggest you only pay the first payment and DMV costs at signing - roll everything else into the lease payment.
