I am also looking at a Kia Sportage EX with Premium package... I like how both cars feel and handle so am having a hard time making a decision. Can anyone advise on which will be the better value?

You'll have to check with the dealer on mileage allowances above 15K/yr

My mom is looking to lease a 2017 rogue, sl, awd with premium package. She brought home lease paperwork from a local dealer in Pittsfield MA. I'm no expert, but this seems totally wrong. MSRP 35,705, selling price 33,711 + fees = gross cap cost 34,780.70. She's trading a Nissan Maxima 2009 and they are giving her 9000. In the lease they are assuming she will put 4500 down (crazy) 800.00 in rebates for net cap cost of 29,497.54. 57% residual - residual amount 20,351.85. 36/12000, money factor .00053. Advanced payment 298.00, total cap reduction 5283.25 - up front charges 281.25 = initial pmt 5,300.00 Monthly Payment 298.00. Advice?

Base money factor is .00003, so they are marking it up.

Need to get your quotes with no CAP reduction out of pocket, so you can compare apples to apples.

So I just walked out of my first nissan dealership. I need advice. Looking to lease the 2017 Rogue SL Premium package with the platinum package for 36/15k here in NY MSRP $35,000 from what I saw on nissans website. I asked them to do $32k on this model the salesman said no way, so I walked out. Trucar is showing people have paid 32k for what I just described. Was I being fair in what I said I'd like the car for? The salesman said if I can get it for 32k somewhere else then go for it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hi I received this offer today from a NY dealer on a 17 Rouge SV AWD with premium package, 36 months 12k a year lease $274.00 a month including taxes in the payment They said only first month and DMV due at signing.. I feel they are hiding some up charges in this quote. Could you please take a look and see if you find anything out of the ordinary. Thanks in advance

You can use the Make/Model/Year tabs at the top of the page to get Edmunds TMV.

Does this deal look legit on this "pre worksheet" This is for a 2017 Nissan Rogue SL Premium package with the platinum package that adds the 19" Wheels and a few bells and whistles. 36/15K a year (please note the finance manager checked 12K a year by accident) I will not sign on delivery if it is not fixed. $326 a month with First Month, Tax, Title and doc fee. They would have to check the correct mileage box. Otherwise the residual wouldn't match up, and the bank would kick it back.

So you didn't see anything on the worksheet that looks sketchy? Being fairly new to this, some of the way it's drawn up confuses me a bit. For instance the $800 dollar rebate being added to the down payment. Is that how these rebates normally work? And the part that says $750 for tax title for the duration of the lease?

Rebates are applied as cap cost reductions (aka down payment).

NY taxes the sum of the payments and collects the money up front.
