    So glad I shun heavily optioned vehicles The 6spd in my LX is hands down the best automatic in my 50 years of driving. And the 15K in my pocket vs the 46 K Elite is mighty sweet. The LX, IMO, is 98% of the top tier model. Tough luck for the non- car enthusiasts( read uninformed) who get stuck with the Elite and Touring Pilot and have to tolerate such a crappy trans and a silly rotary knob for gear shifting.
