End of year pricing on CR-V EX
Looking for advice on end of the year pricing on CRV EX, So far the lowest price I have got is 24700 + 499 destination + taxes. They included side bars and cross bars roof rack. Is this a good price. I was trying to get them to come down a little more but it seems we are at a stand still. My zip code is 80526. I may have another offer for the same price on a Mazda 5 touring, they are both AWD. Any advice??? I'm in now hurry so I was thinking of waiting them out and getting back with them the last week of the year. Not sure it woul make a difference or not. Thanks!

Destination is ordinarily $900 so you are getting a break on that.
MSRP is 28,195 and the True Market Value average price paid for your area is $25,857. Invoice is $26,782 including a $256 ad fee that you shouldn't have to pay, imo. My numbers include destination - adding $500 to your quote gets you a selling price before TTL of $25,200.
Anyway, your current deal is not all that much better than the TMV average and a bit better than 10% better than MSRP. Seems like you should be closer to 12% or more off MSRP and closer to $2,000 off invoice.
I like your idea of waiting the dealers out and sure, cross shop the Mazda too. I guess you mean the CX-5? Here's the TMV stuff on it.
Check out this dealer for accessory prices. Looks like you need the rails and the crossbars and they are about $450 online plus shipping. So the $500 quote for those is decent.
If you want to avoid haggling over the racks and doc fee, take your selling price (the $24,800) and add in the taxes, fees and racks to get an out the door number.
Have you looked at dealers in the Boulder or North Denver area? Even try the dealer in Greeley, if you haven't done so already. The more dealers you get involved, the better your pricing is going to be.

Was looking for a preowned 2015 low miles but couldnt find any being offered locally so started looking at new 2016s since the 2017 has hit the lots. 2016 new is a little higher than I was looking to pay OTD, but started to convince myself it's in the running b/c of the 0.9% APR
ZIP 08052
2015 CRV EX AWD 15k miles (not certified, at an Acura)
vehicle 20995
doc fee 498
registration 411
tire recycling 7.5
OTD with Tax 23381
1.9% APR
2016 CRV EX AWD NEW
vehicle 24998
protection package 449 (wheel locks, splash guards, cargo tray, saying first two items are bolted on and are a must-take)
doc fee 396
registration 411
tire recycling 7.5
OTD with Tax 28016
0.9% APR
Thoughts on how the OTD pricing looks? I can wait out the 2016 a little longer if you think the 2015 is not the better value.
