Water Sloshing below Windshield Wiper Well - drains are where?

My Buick Lacrosse 2007, CXL, has been a problematic vehicle. Have had it 2 years. My husband is mechanically competent to see issues. He is a cautious person and safety-conscious. This car pretty outside is a mess inside.

He said to get rid of it. There may very well be an electrical burst of flames if water you can hear sloshing collected below the
windshield wiper well doesn't get drained properly and leaks onto wires below it in the engine.
A good heavy rain will expose the unsafe conditions of it and could result in a burning up of wires.

There is no simple unplugging of a drain. THe design of this vehicle is poor.

A sloshing sound often is the heater core having a mixture of coolant and air go through it because the cooling system is low on coolant. You need to check the radiator level if it has its own pressure cap to be sure it's full.

Typically a sloshing sound low in the car in the dash area is water sloshing inside the drain pan for the condensate for the air conditioning coils, because its rubber drain tube is stopped up. That drains out the front of the firewall near the middle. If you can put the car up on a lift to look under the front middle, poking something gently up the tube will unblock the usual mass of mold, dirt and crud that blocked the line.

Water not draining out the fender bottoms that goes in through the air intake grates is NOT going to drain on the engine and cause a fire. The engine wiring is 12 volts. LOL

The normal drain route for the water there comes out behind the front wheel on most cars. If you put water into the air intake grate, do you get any water pouring or seeping there? Most common cause of blockage there is leaves and parts of leaves that get into the air intake because they not cleaned off during leaf season in those areas. Or needles from conifers can cause the problem. The hood needs to be raised and those leaves cleaned off the air intakes.

Again if you identify the location where the water drains out, you can poke something upward to try to loosen and make the blockage drop out.
