Hi
I recently got a quote from dealer in North Cal for an 2017 A4 Quattro Premium plus + Tech pack + Sport pack with 12kmiles/year on 36 months (details below). I think the selling price is high. It seems like dealer gave less discount with better MF. Few questions: 1/ Like to negotiate selling price down to 44k-44.5k, Is it reasonable? 2/ Residual=56% (57% per Edmunds forum). Is it correct?; 3/ Are first month compliment and $1,000 discount still in effect? They charge for first month on the deal. Thank you
MSRP=49,135
Discount=2,700
Selling price=46,435
Residual=56%
MF=.00043
Doc fee=80
Acquisition fee=795
License Fee=401
Down=1975 (Fees+ advanced payment)
Upfront Charges=1,377.19
Advanced payment=$597.75
Net Cap Cost=46,434.94
Monthly payment=$597.75

    New Audi program started on January 4th.
    .00043 MF and 56% residual is correct.
    We usually see 6% off MSRP as a good price for an Audi.
    You are within $250 of that, now.

    With your numbers, I get $557/mo.+tax, which seems about right.
    Your upfront charges are about $100 more than your list adds up to, but I'll guess that's some miscellaneous fees, plus tax on the acquisition fee.

    Western Region doesn't have any incentives on this model. You might have a little more room, but not much.
    Adding AudiCare for $849 would raise the residual by 1%, and the payment by $12/mo.post-tax. That's pretty cheap for maintenance.
