I have a grand Cherokee crd ltd auto 2005 when I stop and turn off jeep then start it again some times I have no drive and the light on gear stick is of and it can b 30 mins or so befor the light comes on the gear stickand then it drives o k any one out there nos what is going on

Is your check engine light on when this happens? You should first of all try to extract a trouble code through the diagnostic port using a scan tool or code reader.
