Negotiating a BMW 3 Series Lease---2016 or 2017?

Trying figure out which is better for my pocket - whether a 2016 or 2017 3 series.
The Residuals for 2016s are at upper 50's, that's what the dealers told me.
For a 328i 2016, one dealer quoted me:
38000 MSRP \ 36 months \ Inception Fees: 1924 + tax + monthly pymt.
What is the accurate bidding price I should be going for, based on accurate Residuals & MF in South Florida? And should I be going for a 330i 2017, with higher residuals? What mileage allowance should I be going for?

The 2016 residual is 2% lower than 2017 model, but the 2016 has a $1500 incentive.

Your selling price on a 2016 should be at least 7% off MSRP, then subtract the $1500.

You should get the mileage allowance you need to cover what you actually drive.

MSRP is 44,745. Sales price 37,150.
