Monthly Update for January - 2016 Chevrolet Volt

As the 2016 Chevrolet Volt winds down its time in our long-term fleet, we've found a few nagging things that bother us. None have prevented us from racking up more than 20,000 miles, however.

The new Volt is faster and more efficient than the gen 1. They also fixed the ergonomics in the interior, way simpler.
The guess-o-meter shows 63 miles of EV range when I head out in the morning. I think if I really tried I could easily get 75 miles of EV range.
Gas mileage is improved as well, hit about 45 mpg on a recent 200 mile trip.
The added safety of the Adaptive Cruise Control is awesome (had this on my ELR as well). They also have lane keep assist which will steer the car back towards center lane if you touch the lines on either side of the car. They have improved the rear cross traffic/pedestrian alert and the back up camera is improved with wider range.
Very impressed so far.
