2007 Jeep Compass shuts off

I have a 2007 Jeep Compass [non-permissible content removed] off by its self it has 95,000 miles and when I'm coming to a stop or slowing down the ETS light comes on then they all come on and shuts off usually takes about 5 min then it turns in again and will do it again maybe 20 min later or sometimes until the next day. Anyone else have this problem?? I took it to a mecanic but he can't find anything help please

Time for a new mechanic. What probably has to happen here is that the technician has to have his/her test equipment hooked up when the incident is actually occurring, to read live data from the various sensors and modules.

You might check this website, which lists technicians who are part of a network of "the best". Maybe there's one near you on this list---they can fix it.
