Hi thank you very much, I have spoken to a couple dealers and they are quoting me a residual that is 1% less for all trims then the ones above. Is it possible that the dealer is trying to add in an additional cost by marking down the RV?

Hi thanks again, for whatever reason the dealership I am working with is quoting me at 33% for the EV base with 10,000 miles (this dealership tried to hide some fees that I was already being charged in the cap cost of the car which made me suspicious of their pricing). Also the dealership is telling me that the $8500 in lease cash (The part in addition to the 7500 federal tax break) is subject to tax in California and that it has to be added to the cap cost of the car, does this sound right to you?

The dealer cannot modify the residual; it is fixed by the bank.

Yes, the lease cash is subject to sales tax.

@cajm123 I'm surprised that the entire $16000 isn't subject to tax, since it's all a rebate from Ford, and they keep the $7500 credit.

Targeting tax/tag/title/1st out of pocket and payments at approx. $200/month (including 6% tax). Just curious whether anyone's heard of any current big incentives or great programs on similar cars in the $18k to $22k price range.
