    Dealer has Retail price at $38710.....adjusted selling price to $34,519 and then added tax in the amount of $3,376....for a Remaining Balance of $38,496.94. In Kansas the tax is only on the amount of car used each month, not the overall cost of the car. They have payments at $436.51 with no money down or $390.02 with $2000 down.....

    That's not much of a discount, considering the lease cash.

    If you are leasing, why would they add tax?

    If that selling price was the CAP cost, the payment would be $400/mo.+tax
