We own a 2012 Buick Enclave with 54K miles. Spent $1373.88 in Nov 2016 for a new A/C Compressor and suction line..Now April 2017, it is another $ 913.00 on a new discharge hose and Condensor Assembly, re-charging and another leak inspection test..How on earth can they merit $2400 in a/c charges to a car that cost 44K and is only barely 5 years old? I am disgusted and ticked..They offered to do an appraisal to trade, but I told them they were crazy if they thought I would consider another GM-Buick product!..What gives..No recalls, but I see on-line there are multiple folks having issues with sub-par parts on Enclaves! We gave up a Lexus Rx350 for this, dang it!!

I don't know what trim you have, but I do see quite a few TSBs for that model year concerning "cooling". Of course, a TSB isn't going to get the manufacturer to take care of it for nothing. You can see the entire list by inputting your specific make/model info here.

Did you have all this done at the dealership? You might have saved quite a bit going to a highly qualified independent shop for the AC work.

I did comb the TSBs for your vehicle and didn't see much about AC.
