    The difference between Sport and Comfort is a lot less pronounced if you have a manual. I leave mine in Comfort most of the time. The firmer steering without improved feel or feedback in Sport mode is borderline annoying.

    I found a new nit to pick in the 340i -- my right knee rubs against very hard plastic during spirited driving. This is just insulting in a 3-series.

    The efficiency and power of the powertrain are still worth it in 2017, but not for much longer.
