One reason to get this over the VW is that Infiniti hasn't maliciously ripped off thousands of its customers by knowingly and willingly installing software in their cars to pollute our environment to increase profit margins. I am amazed how the car reviewers have quickly forgotten that fact. Some of us don't like to reward blatantly unscrupulous companies with our hard-earned dollars.

Thank you Dan Frio for bringing up the GTI. Not the GTI specifically but the whole concept of comparing this car to a mass market compact (or at least the sport-oriented version of one). As I read this update (along with previous reviews of this car, the GLA or the CLA) I just can't help feeling that the comments would indicate that these cars are run-of-the mill, mainstream, compact cars. Yes they carry a luxury badge and may have a nice paint job and some fancy tech but when it comes to the drive and all the little things that contribute to the overall experience, these cars would seem to be middle-of-the pack in the compact segments and probably fall short of some cars you can find at a VW, Mazda or Honda dealership. How much better is the CLA than a Civic. How does the QX30 compare to a Mazda3 or CX-5 or CX-3? Head-to-head, blind taste test, I bet most drivers would not pick the MB or Infiniti over the best of the compact segment.

I wouldn't buy this over a Mini Countryman (yes I'm a Mini fan) nor a GTI. This car and the GLA just hurt my eyes. Every time I see one of these cars I think of the word frumpy.
